Festive cocktail, where the Distilled Aarhus Festuge x Sara Slott gin is enhanced with extra sweetness from blackcurrants and fresh acidity from lemon. A balanced and fruity cocktail, in which the gin’s herbal, salty notes from sea beet, samphire, and silver sage add character, while blackcurrant branches and leaves provide a liquorice-root depth to the blackcurrant base.

2,5 cl blackcurrant marmelade (or 1 cl blackcurrant syrup of your choice)

12,5 cl lemon soda

Blackcurrant sage for ganish

1. Pour gin and marmelade into a lowball glass and stir.

2. Fill the glass with ice and top with the lemon soda.

3. Garnish with blackcurrant sage.

The gin is distilled with sea beet, samphire, blackcurrant branches and leaves, and, of course, juniper. A herbal note from silver sage pays tribute to Sara Slott’s Olympic silver medal in Rio and her passion for Italian cuisine. The infused blackcurrants give the gin a colour reminiscent of a red running track, adding a touch of sweetness to this complex gin.
