Sand And Sea Martini Combo

This combo contains:

Dry Martini might be one of the most known cocktails that a lot of people have yet to taste. There might even be some of you that have tasted it but didn’t quite enjoy it. Fear not - with a bit more attention in the making of this cocktail you’ll be guaranteed a delicious tasting experience beyond your expectations.

Dry Martini is a potent cocktail consisting of few ingredients and that makes the chosen gin even more important. Here at Njord we couldn’t imagine a more perfect gin to base it on than Distilled Sand And Sea (or Distilled Mother Nature). The round umami rich flavour from Sand And Sea adds another layer of complexity to this classic.

Serve the Sand And Sea Martini with fresh oysters as an appetizer or enjoy it alongside a grilled hotdog as a late night snack. If you’re courageous and creative in the kitchen then the cocktail recipe is listed in our new food and cocktail book “Utæmmet” but with a twist of adding drops of seakale oil as garnish. In the book you’ll also find a grilled lobster dish which has been matched to the martini.

Dry Martini recipe:

  • 5 cl Distilled Sand And Sea Amber
  • 1,5 cl Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth (vermouth from the coast of Marseillan)
  • Garnish: fresh lemon zest
  1. Prepare cooled coupe glasses.
  2. Pour gin og vermouth into a mixing glass and fill it with ice.
  3. Stir with a bar spoon for 20 seconds.
  4. Use a strainer while pouring into the cooled coupe glass.
  5. Squeeze lemon zest over the glass and drop it into the cocktail.

If you’re making multiple Martinis you can prepare two cocktails in the same mixing glass.
